All women love makeup and although it is very fun to apply, it can be hard to keep up with the latest trends. Here are a few tips for the summer 2011 makeup trends proposed by the major fashion houses.
Nude makeup with glossy eyes – this seems to be very hot this year and people have been showing it in fashion shows a lot. Glossy eyes can be really hard to maintain during the day especially for people who already have oily eyelids and a certain shape that makes the whole makeup gather into the creases. But this makeup looks great and refreshing and it can be a great addition to your summer outfit.
Bright reds and bright pinks – your eyes, chicks and lips will be amazing with these great colors. Of course, don’t wear them all at the same time, it might look a little bit odd. If you are using bright colors on your eyes, wear a nude lipstick and a little bit of blush. A more Barbie like style seems to be in fashion too, so if you are a pink lover, you will definitely feel comfortable this summer.
Coral, peach and blue – Dior managed to impress with the latest runway show. They had a lot of bright beautiful colors for this summer. You don’t need expensive makeup to obtain fresh looks like the one and you will surely impress everybody with your creativity. Any colors work as long as they are bright and beautiful, you don’t need to limit yourself to the ones showed on the catwalk.
Glitter – it seems that glitter is a big part of the trends this summer; you can use a lot of glitter for your evening makeup but try to avoid it during the day because it is too much. Always combine and mix trends, to get your own original style because that is definitely more important than just copying a certain look out of a magazine.
